I was driving home from work today and was behind a Ford car, and when I looked at the logo, there was a tiny loop on the end of the middle part of the F that stood out to me. I knew that the writing in the Ford logo had flourishes, but this one looked different from before.
At 9:30 in the morning on this day in 1903, Henry Ford and other prospective stockholders in the Ford Motor Company meet in Detroit to sign the official paperwork required to create a new. Henry Ford disliked the design and it was swiftly discontinued. 1927 - Ford oval Badge. The new Model A for 1927 was the first Ford vehicle to carry the Ford oval as a radiator badge. With the familiar deep royal blue background that we know today, the logo was used on many cars until the end of the 1950s.
I did a Google image search on the logo this evening, and when I look at the logo's variations and historical versions, the wronger that little twirl looks to me.
I'm not entirely sure, though, so I've put an [AFFIRMATION] tag on this post. Does anyone else agree?
